It would be impossible to tell you which we liked best because we LOVE them both! Renting from Dan & Laura is always a pleasure they are so helpful and pleasant to deal with. The place was spotless (as usual) and the view was even better than these pictures show! There was plenty of firewood and a we made full use of it during the cool evenings. We stayed for 4 nights but wished we could stay for more. During our stay we only left one time and that was to get groceries and grab a bite to eat, because it was so cozy. Granted we have been to Mendocino a few times now so we had previously made the trip to a few nice places to eat, nearby Fort Bragg, to Glass Beach, all the cute downtown shops and art galleries, the private beach, and the dog friendly river just down the street otherwise we would have taken advantage of the close location to all of these places. There really is no better location than this it's so close to everything but feels like it's on its own island.
