The establishment has undergone an excellent refurbishment. My bedroom, Badger, was very comfortable and immaculately clean. The amenities included bottled water, shampoo conditioner and tea and coffee. The restaurant food was excellent. I chose the liver and onions, which was delicious and very good value for money.
One very minor item: I would have liked a shelf or something similar in the shower cubicle to hold my shower gel, as it had to balance on the taps and kept falling off.

Perfect location for me. The Barn Owl has a lovely, charming feel. The property itself - tastefully decorated, well equipped and a wonderful place to just hang out.

Lovely pub with comfortable rooms and a cute beer garden. Staff were very friendly and keen to help.

The room and bathroom were satisfactory as was the evening meal we booked in the restaurant. The restaurant seemed to be popular.
The Barn Owl is opposite a large roofing supplies yard and in the morning (Friday) staff had some difficulty opening the gate which resulted in quite a lot of noise. The accommodation was expensive, considering it did not include breakfast.
