The" Villas at John's Pass" is a small property of just 4 units, located on the North end of the historic boardwalk and fishing village. The beach is just across the street. The apartment was recently renovated with all new furnishings. Each of the two bedrooms have a queen size bed. The living room has a sleeper sofa. Unit #1 is located on the ground floor. Shared washer and dryer available at no cost. Free Wi-Fi and Cable television. This apartment is pet friendly with restrictions (1 pet, 20lbs max, $200 non-refundable pet fee). Madeira Beach is a small beach community located within a short drive to two of the highest rated beaches in Florida: St. Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach. The historic "John's Pass Village and Boardwalk" is a top attraction on everyone's list. With a large variety of shops, restaurants, bars, and sites to see, you are likely to spend more time here than you do on the beach! Great time, location was easy to get to beach and also close to stuff to do. Was a little loud with traffic and passerby but thats to be expected with the location so no complaints. Check in/out was easy and appreciated 24/hr check in.

The property was dirty. The air condontioning units were so clogged with gunk they didn't work properly. I had to clean them. But still were dirty and smell The smell in the bedroom across from the bathroom was horrible. It smelled like dried urine. This smell was not from the bathroom. As soon as we walked down the hall the smell hit us. Not sure the last time the sheets were washed. Having windows with the outside street lights just outside the windows should have curtains or some kind of light blocking system in place. The kitchen was illequipped. No salt/pepper, no dish liquid, pans were inadequate, no serving bowls of any kind. The refrigerator had black mold on the door shelf where condiments go. The entire house had not been vacuumed in quite some time. Found the vacuum, but it was so clogged with hair and debris that we had to clean it first to use it. It still did not work properly. The bathroom was very small and not clean. The front porch where you walk in had not been swept in forever. We had to sweep that as well. How your cleaning company didn't see all the things we did is unfortunate. But before renting it again you should go in and do a complete cleaining and find out what that smell is. It is really disgusting. Get a vacuum that works properly. For the money we paid we expected alot more out of this experience. We did not plan on cleaning or holding our nose when going down the hall. I hope you take this review and take care of the issues at this rental.

Perfect location and within walking distance of a lot of great places! I loved that it was a few feet from the beach, but even if you needed to drive the area has ample of parking spaces where you can pay to park. The place comfortably accommodated 3 adults and 1 child. The couch is a pull out and my mom said it’s not as comfortable, so it would probably be best for a child to sleep there. Other than that, I have no complaints! Make sure to read the check in and check out instructions thoroughly and everything will go smoothly!

Bathrooms and bedrooms were cleans. Dining table and kitchen counters were filthy… grimy and sandy. I had to order Clorox wipes because I was grossed out. The front patio was a mess. Trash, leaves, filthy welcome mats. Seems to me that’s more about their cleaning service than the owners. Great location, and would have been VERY happy if it weren’t for the affirmentioned issues.

The location of this VRBO is amazing! Very close access to the beach and right next to the boardwalk and village! It was very nice and Christine and the staff at TRS were so accommodating and friendly!!! Hope to come back someday!

The place is in a perfect spot for eating, shopping and beach activities. I love that it has a bar/restaurant right next door. I wish we had more towels and there were some basics that were lacking (trash bags, soap, toiletries) Overall everything was fine and I’d stay here again.

The unit was very nice. I would suggest room darkening shades or curtains as the amount of light at night is awful. Also units upstairs are very easily heard.
