The hotel has a fantastic view of the beachfront and waves, and I could see and hear the beach and waves from the balcony on my room on the third floor. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. They even helped me arrange a massage on Christmas Day - not many hotels would bother.
I honestly couldn't fault this hotel, or the location. I have nothing negative to say. I had trouble using the phone in my room to speak to the spa, but this wasn't a problem.

Very lovely hotel one cross-walk away from the beach. The hotel was very well decorated for christmas, it made for a cozy winter environment. The breakfast was buffet style, very good with a lot of option. There were robes available in the room to use in the spa and indoor pool. They also provide towels to use in the hotel facilities.
It was my boyfriend's birthday, and they surprised us at breakfast with a cake and candle even though we didn't notify them. It was a great surprise!
The indoor pool needs some upkeep, and the temperature was a bit colder than I was expecting, but the hotel offered the option of using the spa as compensation.

Ocean view from balcony. Not the best one. But the nature is always charming.
We definitely made a mistake when choosing a hotel. A couple without children found themselves as if in a summer children's camp. The screams of children at breakfast, lunch and dinner gave me a headache. There was not a single quiet area where you can safely eat. We had problems with car parking. The staff did not hesitate to disturb us by calling the room several times a day, even on my husband's birthday. The territory is not too beautiful, worn out, 2-3 * in my opinion. This is by far the worst hotel we've been to in Portugal. "Resting" here, you feel unsuccessful. Good thing we only spent a couple of nights here.
