The Finns are the hosts, and they are extraordinary in welcoming guests. The breakfast was superb, with Edith making sure all is delicious, and John cooks. It's wonderful to stay at Aherne's with such hospitality
All was great! I didn't drive so I can't comment on parking, etc.

It’s beautifully presented with huge rooms, lots of light, antique furniture, very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean. Wonderfully welcoming people, an absolutely delicious selection of food for breakfast (probably the best breakfast that I’ve ever had in a stay away)! The townhouse is attached to a restaurant and bar which is also great, but there’s a lot of privacy with a lovely little breakfast room full of light and crisp linen tablecloths, and a beautiful lounge to relax in which was so elegant and comfortable. I would happily have stayed for much longer!
Nothing. It was a lovely stay. The place was under new management (I knew the previous owners who were terrific) and I was worried that standards would have slipped but absolutely not—it was wonderful.
