Comfortable bed, clean room, amenities. The manager that tried to help us to change room although it wasn’t successful.
booked previously a room for my husband and me and requested a quieter room because I am a light sleeper. We were on holiday after a long drive and wanted a good rest. I was told this should be possible.
When we checked in, there were only two rooms available: one next to the elevator, where the noise was like the machinery was inside the room, and another next to the car park exit, where the door made a very loud sound every time someone entered or left. Neither option was suitable for a quiet stay.
We ended up in the room next to the elevator, and it was impossible to sleep. The noise was constant throughout the night as people used the elevator late at night and very early in the morning. Even my husband, who normally has no trouble sleeping, could not rest.
The most disappointing part was that I had specifically asked for a quiet room beforehand. If this was not possible, it would have been better to let us know so we could have booked somewhere else.
In my opinion, the room next to the elevator should not be used as a sleeping room because the noise makes it extremely difficult to rest. Very disappointed with this experience and I would not recommend this place.
