No proper windows in room

Location of the property in the old city was fabulous, as could easily walk to the main tourist locations, or get to a metro station close by to save your walking. Breakfast was great as was fresh, and included all of the basics. Room was comfortable enough and really clean. Appreciated that there was a lift. Good value for money and would stay again.

The windows looked out onto other buildings and plumbings, so all curtains were kept closed making it a dark room. Given the location and old style buildings it is to be expected.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere, good breakfast, receptionist was helpful with the taxi reservation. Cute elevators accommodating only three people at the time if more then three people gets in they will not move. Few times we walked to the 8th floor and down for fun. Latter we would just split in two groups and wait patiently for the lift. Good wi-fi connection, quiet rooms, our room had cute private patio with interesting panoramic view. close to the Pierre, two blocs from metro and bazaar. We only stayed one night.

Location and hotel facilities were excellent. The lady on reception was extremely helpful.

No dislikes. In fact I strongly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a perfect central location at La Rambla Street, close to the Barceloneta Port, Columbus Monument, the Market, the Barcelona Cathedral and the whole Gothic Quarter with nice little streets full of shops, cafes and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean with a view of Guel Palace. Breakfast offered sweet and salty choices, fruits, tea and coffee.

Location very good, just right on La Rambla. Very comfortable bed and nice personal.

Very poor breakfast, little selection of vegetables, only tomatoes. same food everyday. Missed bathroom accessories, like glass for toothbrushes.

I received this message too late as i got a new taxi earlier …. My flight was 3:25 pm and the driver arrived 2:30 at ramblas hotel . With all my respect … the taxilo message must be send a day before. Also yesterday at night i asked the guy at the reception to comfirm for me the taxi for the flight of the next day… he was extremely unpolite telling me ‘its not my problem …. I told him … i paid for the hotel and i have the invoice with my payment … he asked me to Call booking.com.

In the morning i asked another guy in the reception to comfirm me the taxi to the airport, he told me that the amount i paid 58€ is for one way only which was wrong information. I request the 39€ that i paid to the taxi from booking by mistakes due to unprofessional services by both ramblas hotel and taxilo. Chahir El Barati [email protected] +201222116172 Also i would like to add that ramblas hotel give us a inadmissible room 411 that have a dirty view with no wifi , and we asked to leave the hotel and to get back our money as we asked several time to fix the wifi in the 411 room, finally they changed the room to 811 which was better but also no WiFi. The breakfast was decent and the staff was really trying it's best. The biggest selling point is the price obviously.

The hotel markets itself with its beautiful exterior, lobby and bar. On the other hand the rooms are ugly, poorly equipped and the walls are paper thin. Many guests were families with babies, who made sure we didn't have a peaceful moment in the hotel. The location also seemed great at first, but the La Rambla is an awful bunch of tourist traps and wacky souvenir shops. The street itself is PACKED 24/7. Any good restaurants or cafés we found were 20 minutes walk away. Bonus: Instead of the hotel's beautiful restaurant, breakfast was served in a relatively bleak and cold dining room. One night the hotel's boiler ran out of hot water, so we couldn't take a bath. We asked for one double bed in advance, so the pushed together two single beds, leaving a gap between the mattresses, very romantic, thank you. The elevator was so bafflingly slow, that we just ended up taking the stairs half the time.

The location was towards the harbour and beach at the bottom of the Ramblas with easy access to the gothic area and main shops. The reception and check in was straightforward, lovely little balcony and a good size clean room. Straightforward continental breakfast but with freshly squeezed orange juice daily from an orange juicer which was a lovely touch not often seen even in 5 star hotels. Will return when next visiting.

Review of Barcelona Spain. Ramblas Hotel Friday 30.12.22- Sat 31.12.22: Not far from Liceu station stop and on la Ramblas Street. Room 801 with view of back of the building area. Very basic room and bathroom. fridge and safe. Breakfast was basic no eggs. Needs upgrading and maintenance with incomplete painting and patches on our wall next to aircon. Tina could not provide me with a double bed as requested on my booking. Prices high. Very noisy with staff next to a broom closet. Workers are very inconsiderate to guests. Bathroom noises can be heard next door to our room. food and coffee spots in Barcelona Spain 🇪🇸: El ray de istanbul for paella, baklava. Gelatiamo for delicious krepes, ice cream and cappuccino.

The location was very convenient in the heart of main downtown We walked around to get food and to do shopping We had halal food choice right opposite the hotel 👏👏
