Huge bedroom with a view of the river. Large balcony. Friendly staff. Close to the railway station, large 7Eleven and great little Thai restaurant - The Seven Seas. I also got a really good price for the room.
Some of the fixtures and fittings were a bit dated. There was no in room safe. However, these were minor quibbles as I loved the room and the view and the place was great value for money.

The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, clean and there was a proper bath/ shower, nice for a lazy soak. Good view over the river from our room. Kettle and coffee, efficient air con. Would stay again.
Nothing. A very small point, table level sockets with usb outputs would be helpful.

The staff throughout Hotel were lovely and so accommodating. The Hotel itself is old. However, they have tried to make some improvements, but not many. The bed was so uncomfortable (like 10 elephants had slept on it). We tried to get a topper, but none was available. The Hotel is very close to the railway station and has a 7 Eleven and street food only metres away. Breakfast menu depended on how many guests - if only a few guests you were given two poached eggs, ham, sausages, salad, juice and yoghurt. Toast and coffee/tea you helped yourself. If the Hotel had a lot of guests, a full buffet breakfast.
No fire escape plan, and things just needed updating.
