Amazing, beautiful castle. We stayed in the tower and felt like princesses. Restaurant was impeccably divine. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. The castle collection is amazing to walk around and look at and engage with. A fabulous night in a castle.

A very beautiful historical place. The Castle and the grounds were amazing. The Staff went out of their way to help and make us feel welcome. Dinner at the restaurant offered a menu with wine pairing which was perfect.

I like that it was a castle but felt very uncomfortable when we were told we couldn’t leave the 2nd floor from midnight to 8am. We had a nap and heard strange noises. We then read that the castle is haunted by ghosts and it was featured in several tv shows for paranormal activity. Whether we believe in ghosts or not there was no way we were staying there so we checked out at 8pm. Unfortunately we paid the full room rate. The castle is way too creepy for us.
That we were restricted and that it is labelled as one of the most haunted places to stay.
