Our stay at Tres Coronas was perfect! We only had one night to enjoy in Santo Domingo de Silos but the room, the environment, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home, (even though we know very little Spanish.) The building and decor were amazing , the bed was comfortable, the shower was great and the window overlooking the plaza was such an amazing surprise!
Walking around Santo Domingo de Silos, day or night, is so special. We didn’t have much time, but we did enjoy morning mass, touring the monastery and museum, and hiking La Yecla.
When we arrived we were confused about where we should park

This was our fifth visit to this hotel and destination. A beautiful old building in the heart of the village. Friendly, professional staff with attention to detail, family owned.
The breakfast is excellent, served at your table.
No longer able to park in the centre of the village but there is free parking close by. You can drop off/pickup luggage outside the hotel entrance.
No lift in the hotel but a lovely lady carried my luggage to the second floor.
No air conditioning in the rooms.

Beautifully restored, 300 year old small boutique hotel right on the main square. Staff was exceptional, breakfast and dinner were great. Window from our room overlooked the square. Easily accessible to the monastery across the square.
No air-conditioning during an exceptional heat wave. But night breezes helped a lot.
