The room was large, breakfast gave plenty of options, mainly chinese food, and the staff was friendly.
location was a bit off the main road of the city and facilities but they offered free shuttle service to connect to train stations and city center.
The hotel is a bit outdated in terms of furniture and design, you can tell it was built in the 70s

The cruise to the Tori gate didnt have at least an english translation. It was only in Japanese

Best ocean view Japanese Tatami mat room
Breakfast was very good. We regret we ate too many ch.
I was charged extra 3000 yen at the checkout for whiskey. I contacted the hotel and they researched through. But I paid in cash and also my son paid in cash for whisky the night before. We are on the way to the next location and there’s nothing I can do about it. It was a great hotel but gave me a bad feeling now.

Reception and lounge areas, views and location. Shuttle bus was efficient.
Really very tired facilities and while it was understood to be a traditional Japanese hotel, very little was done to try and help Western tourist understand things, especially at meals.
