Extremely enjoyable resort, away from all the loud parties and music. Nice open rooms with seperate shower and toilet. The pathways between the apartments and lobby/pool areas are especially beautiful featuring a jungle canopy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
It was almost impossible to get loungers near the pool as most of them were reserved in the morning by other guests even though they were signs saying not to.

Clean and very spacious rooms at very affordable price [ off season ]... property is on the beach .. pool is also wonderful right next to the beach. Beautiful vibes in that area .. BEACH DOESN'T HAVE BLUE WATER .. but its ok to take a dip ... also BEACH IS NOT AS CLEAN AS ONE WOULD HOPE IN THAILAND ...
Its away from the night life so very quiet. [ But it may be a good thing for others ] .. too secluded ,,means that u have to rent a car or a bike if you want to step out .. Reception wasnt as warm as they are known for thai hospitality ... BEACH IS NOT AS CLEAN AS ONE WOULD HOPE IN THAILAND ...

This was our second stay at Bangsak Village, and overall we enjoyed it again. Peaceful, quiet, good location, comfortable and safe with good food.
The hotel is relatively small, or at least feels that way (which is a huge positive), and the location is quiet and quite remote (TB110 per person for a bus one way to town - no return service so TB300 minimum to get home). We always stay in the cottages. Some seem newer or more recently renovated than others, but overall they are comfortable. The pool is small but perfectly adequate.
Breakfast is good, as is the food in the hotel restaurant, although prices are higher than at the small local restaurants nearby. There are several very good local places within easy reach. My wife also had a massage at the hotel and it was very good.
Very clean beach though more for dipping than swimming as the waves can be quite rough.
The main negative for us is smoking. Guests smoke around the pool and outside the cottages, and the hotel doesn’t seem to enforce any restrictions - although marked the no smoking signs are aged and seemingly ignored by inconsiderate smokers. As some cottages are semi-detached, you can also smell smoke from your neighbours. At times, parts of the hotel can feel like a smoking area.
The semi-detached cottages also mean you can hear your neighbours, so this depends very much on who is staying next door.
The reception staff could also benefit from more training. Overall, there is sometimes a feeling that nobody is really in charge or overseeing the guest experience.
Despite these points, we enjoyed our stay and returned because we like the quiet location, smaller feel and relaxed atmosphere. We will return again.

The restaurant which serves fabulous Thai cuisine is right on the private beach. We had booked the rooms with a private splash pool for few rooms in a cluster, which was amazing.
Also the fact that it was Adults only. Very peaceful.
The toilet and the shower area were separated by quite a distance which we found a little inconvenient
