The room was an excellent size with comfortable beds and a magnificent view of the town. The old world grandeur of the property is appealing and the location is brilliant. Sitting on the terrace with a Pisco sour was wonderful.
We were there is low season and it was very quiet. There was some maintenance to do and it was good to see repairs being carried out.
I'd suggest the staff could have uniforms. They were friendly and accommodating but a uniform would better suit the role.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful suggesting where to explore and how to do so. The room was cozy and the bed was like a cloud. We greatly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

The location was excellent. The staff were all very professional and accommodating.
The room we were initially shown was not at all like the photos on the booking.com site.It was small, with a tiny window, and looked as if it needed a thorough cleaning. We asked for a new, better room and were told we’d have to pay an additional $50/ night - we were already paying $250/ night for a substandard room. The new room was bigger with a better view but the chairs were completely stained! The manager eventually told the front desks staff we could have the better room at no extra charge and the replace the yucky chairs the next morning. It was a hassle, but ended reasonably well.
