We liked the location and while the hotel is older it is well maintained and very convenient. There are some excellent cafes and restaurants very close by and there are several supermarkets nearby. The metro is a 3 minute walk away.
Sadly it was very hot the week we stayed in Munich and the room had no A/C. They provided a fan (thank you) and we opened windows but the nights were still "warm".

The staff was very friendly and forthcoming. They were always ready to help with a smile.
Those travelers who need darkness for sleeping should bring an eye mask, especially in high summer where the days a very long in this part of the world.
The price for value was a bit steep in my opinion but then you are in Munich, one of the pricier cities in DE.

I stayed her during the last weekend of Oktoberfest, so the price was higher than usual. It’s also important to note that you check into the Indian restaurant, there isn’t a regular check-in desk. It is around the corner from the U-baun, which is very convenient. The beds were pretty comfortable and the bathroom was good. The neighborhood the pensione is in is cute.
The room itself was kind of crammed (not a ton of walking room). It got very cold at night with no control of temperature.

The room had older decor, but was clean and well kept
The hotel ws poorly displayed - my taxi driver could not find it. A larger sign would be an improvement. The entrance was a propped open door down a dirty, poorly lit alleyway. Not very inviting at all. My room door had marks of it having been forced open - one wonders what had happend before. Not a place to take one's family
