About this house rental
Nestled in Tybee Island, this attractive house for $224 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This is a wonderful beach cottage built in 1928 and located at the South end of Tybee Island. It has everything you need for your 'home away from home' and it is just 200 steps to South Beach. Right around the corner is the Back River and its beaches. Two fabulous screened porches to relax and take your cares away. Downstairs porch has a dining table and chairs that seats 6 with one sofa and lots of wicker chairs. Upstairs has several chairs to relax and enjoy your morning coffee. Listen closely to hear the sounds of the ocean. Rent a kayak and go over to Little Tybee or rent a bike and take in all the beauty of Tybee. Somewhere in Time and Somewhere in Time Too is just a couple of blocks from Tybrisa Street, the Strand and the Pier and close to restaurants and shopping. You can walk everywhere on the South End. Easy, short walk to the beach and the back river. The screened in porch is a wonderful place to relax after a long day at the beach. There is an outdoor shower to wash off the sand from the beach after a day in the sun. - Off street parking for a maximum of 5 cars - Washer/Dryer - 2 Charcoal Grills - Firepit - WIFI + Cable TV This listing is for both units: Somewhere In Time is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath downstairs unit that sleeps 6 AND Somewhere in Time Too is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath upstairs unit that sleeps 6. These properties may be rented separately, if interested. No events with a higher number of guests than the occupancy of the house are permitted and there is a minimum age requirement of 25 for renters. As our gift to you for booking with us, we offer free admission to select Tybee attractions. Called the Xplorie Program, our guests will receive one free adult admission ticket, per night stay, to attractions like dolphin tours, bike rentals and kayak rentals. Overall great stay. Good time to visit. Rented Somewhere in time two (both units). Location to the beach was ideal. Would have preferred better information on what to bring. Eg. asked abt coffee. Was told drip coffee maker. Both units had both drip and k-cups. Over packed.

The location of this property was perfect. Close walking distance to the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants. Great amount of space for 10 of us. Everyone loved it. We didn’t get to use much of the outdoor space since it was so hot outside, but the deck space and backyard looked very cute.

We had a lovely time! Nice yard for grilling and corn hole. Short walk to the beach and to nearby shops and restaurants. Quiet location for the most part. Comfortable accommodations. I think Tybee Island is growing on me, and I'm sure we'll want to return next year!

We rented both upstairs and downstairs. Nice beachy house. Perfect for our family of 11. 2 beaches entrances very close! Wonderful beach and the backbay is perfect for little kids. We even did a fire pit in the backyard! Lots of porch space!

We had a great stay! We rented both apartments and had 7 adults sharing the space very comfortably. Both apartments were in great condition - just as advertised. Inside was clean and comfortable (A/C) and beautifully decorated. It was amazing to have all of the outdoor spaces as well - the screened porches, the upper deck, the back porch and swing, and the firepit. There was a plenty of parking. And the location is great - it is literally a few minutes walk to the beach and to several restaurants by the pier.
The management was very responsive when we had questions before and during our stay. We also took advantage of the Xplorie offer for free passes to local attractions during our stay- that was a great bonus!

Great property for my family stay! The fenced in back yard was great for the kids to be able to have some room to play and we all had our own space with the bedrooms. Close to beach access and we could walk over rather than dealing with pay to park lots.

Great for a big family get away
Perfect size property when renting both bottom and top plenty of screened in porches and out door seating. They have two grills that made it easy for us to cook a little surf and turf. Easy access to the beach and to the sound/inlet for better fishing. More beds then expected and room to sleep. Very pleased and would defiantly rent this house again or recommend it.

Loved the location and enjoyed the time at Tybee. We had two families and the kids had a ball. The only disappointment was the back porch stairs were under construction which made backyard access harder from the upstairs unit.

Great space for 12 plus one baby. Loved all the gathering spaces to relax(front porch, back upstairs deck, backyard fireplace) Closeness to the beach was a plus. Everything was decorated beautifully. Housekeeping cleaned and prepared the house for our arrival very well!

Home Away From Home
My family came together for a family reunion and the house was a perfect fit! We rented both units of Somewhere In Time. The downstairs front porch was the "gathering place" for the entire family. We loved the vibe of the house so much, we had a photography session in the front yard. The location of the house was wonderful! When we wanted the big waves and activities, we went to the 19th Street access. For the quiet walks on the beach and serenity, we went to the Chatham Street access. Can't brag on the house enough! The furnishings in the house were great! The living areas of the house were comfortable and truly matched our needs. We used the backyard for our cookouts and the front porch for all of the other meals. Very impressed with the furnished supplies in the kitchen! Truly, fully stocked! Already planning our next visit to Somewhere In Time!

This house was set up perfectly for our crew. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs, and there was more than enough room to spread out. This home offers everything you need ( expect clothes and food) for a great vacation experience. Best money I ever spent on accommodations

Family Reunion on on Tybee Island, great time
The location was very good. The house was very well equipped dishes, kitchen utensils, towels, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. What was a very nice surprise was all the outdoor areas that held space for large groups.

Wonderful Get Away
We rented both units and they were absolutely gorgeous. The units were spacious, clean and conveniently located. We only had to walk around the corner to get to the beach and down the street to get to the Pier, shops and restaurants.
The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the units had everything you forgot for the beach (chairs, umbrella and a lovely outdoor shower).
Needless to say, I loved our extended weekend here. So much so, I want to move to Tybee .... LOL.

Peaceful and Perfect! Everything You Hope for ... and SO MUCH MORE!
My group of eight adults stayed here for our annual get together. First impression when you drive up is WOW! The home is absolutely perfect and even lovelier than the photos. Every detail is well-placed and it is truly appointed with the guests in mind. The homes were clean and inviting from the screened in porch to the comfy beds. . . this is how a vacation home should be! Warm and welcoming. Although we spent most of our time laughing and talking in the living room downstairs, there are so many "privacy" spots that we never felt crowded. It's too bad there are not photos of the incredible backyard. . . it's a whole other living space and was perfect for morning coffee and relaxing after a day on the beach. The BEACH . . . it really is only steps away! And we were so thankful for the beach equipment that was provided, and the outdoor shower!
Be sure to try the pizza at Lighthouse Pizza and the late night fun at Bernie's. Both are on the Island. And Savannah is just over the bridge
Working with the manager, Tybee Joy, is just that a JOY! Thank you for your hospitality.
The only complaint I have is that we didn't stay longer. Somewhere In Time and Somewhere In Time II will make you forget all about time. . . Thank you for an awesome vacation experience. We can hardly wait to come again.

Great Get-away
A wonderful place to visit and stay-cottage was wonderful, had everything we needed and perfect for families or just a "girls trip." Very relaxing, close to the beach and downtown. We rented bikes and an electric car to to get around and just have fun. Lots to do and see and shop. Can't wait to return.

Not enough space to say how much my friends and I enjoyed our stay. A front porch I couldn't stay off of, a great back deck that is shady in the afternoon, so close to the beach everyone could come and go as they pleased/no planning necessary, surprised by a great gazebo in front of the dunes on the way to the beach where we watched sunrises and sunsets, a walk to bike rentals and electric car rentals, a walk to shops, the pier, restaurants, the home itself is wonderful, great mattresses (sometimes a problem at rentals), decorated beautifully, kitchen well-stocked, low key area, relaxing, friendly and helpful people everywhere.. I cannot wait to go back. Absolutely LOVED it.

Carefree Weekend Getaway
We had a much needed and awesome weekend getaway staying here with our boys. The house and the outlaying area was beautiful and peaceful. We were able to relax with privacy and take advantage of the convenient location to the local attractions in a laid back setting. The South Beach and the Back River area were just a hop, skip, and jump away from the lovely front porch in a pleasant, friendly neighborhood. While there was plenty for us to do locally and down at the pier, we also enjoyed making the short drive to Savannah as well one night. We loved the clean, cool welcoming beach color decor and well thought out amenities to make our visit easy and comfortable. We look forward to another getaway here again as soon as we can.
