We absolutely loved our stay at Rinn Miyagawacho Tsubaki. The house was beautiful, comfortable and had a real sense of Kyoto. But what made the stay especially memorable was the location. The surrounding Gion area was wonderfully peaceful and atmospheric, with quiet streets, traditional buildings and a very special feeling, particularly in the early morning and evening.
We also really appreciated the hospitality at check-in. After collecting the keys, our whole group was taken to the accommodation by taxi free of charge. After more than 24 hours of travelling, this was incredibly helpful and made our arrival much easier and more comfortable.
It was one of those places where simply walking around the neighbourhood became part of the experience of visiting Kyoto. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it.
