Right in the heart of the old town, walking distance to all we needed to see, nice breakfast and helpful staff
Room was a little small, but that’s to be expected in the heart of Madrid

Location / staff / convenience / memory foam mattress
Walls between room 116 and 117 were paper thin. Some guy staying in 117 was so noisy every night coughing slamming light switches and dragging heavy furniture around the room. Both friday and saturday night.

The location was perfect, everything I wanted to see and do in Madrid was between a 5-20 minute walk away from the hotel, with options of public transport or uber too if needed. The hotel is also right next to a square of restaurants and bars which is helpful if you don’t want to go further in the evenings. It’s also around a 25 minute uber from the airport. The room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The staff at reception and the cleaners were so lovely, welcoming and friendly, always happy for a chat and to help with anything they can. I stayed as a solo female traveller and I felt very safe and happy here.
I would’ve liked a balcony, however I don’t think any of the rooms had balconies.

location very good and an excellent breakfast
rooms were very nice but soundproofing was terrible with noise from other rooms meaning no chance of a good nights sleep so definitely not worth the price
