Felt like it was refreshed recently. Clean, modern, well equipped and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Quiet rooms with good aircon. Comfortable beds.
My fault - I booked in a hurry and didn’t check that Plaza Mayor was actually in, or near, the Plaza Mayor. Slightly grubby area and the shop next door is a sex toy superstore. Probably makes for a spicy weekend for some though…

Modern, clean. My room was situated on the second floor facing out into the Main Street. The room had everything you needed and quite spacious.
Had wardrobe space, cupboards, mini fridge & hot drink facilities. Long mirror. Ac unit, blackout blinds, great bathroom, good lighting.

The location and the room itself. I stayed at the Catalonia Atocha last year and this year at Catalonia Plaza Mayor. Excellent experience at these hotels.
