The hotel was picturesque (from someone who hates staying in hotels, prefers unique accommodations) very clean, cosy, lovely pool area (not a big pool though) staff were wonderful and friendly, and the beach close by was surprisingly beautiful. We werenโt expecting much from it being in the centre of Catania, but it truly exceeded our expectations.

A big shout out to dinner and pool staff Sabrina and Alfie. The dinner and menue was incredibly delicious ๐. Lots of Sicilian unique choices on the dinner menu.
Simon at the (Front Desk Reception), was so knowledgeable and helpful regarding what public transport to take for the Catania Markets. Also, the gave us a free voucher for the beach club opposite the Hotel.. We swam in the Mediterranean and had a delicious lunch there.
Breakfast Simona was always above and beyond service and a big thankyou to the young married Adonis.
Give. The temp was 38 to 41 most days sadly, our aircon in our room really struggled towards the end of our 4 day stay. We did report this to management for service. They were very thankful and was fixed.
If you are visiting Catania in August it is extremely hot and and air-conditioned room is mandatory.
The swimming ๐โโ๏ธ pool is smaller than the booking.com photo.

Nice sandy beach across the road with sun-beds and umbrellas (included in the hotel price)
The area around is abandoned. I think hotel prices including the food are overpriced for 3 star hotel. It is clean hotel but very outdated and surrounded by empty old buildings.

Staff were friendly and helpful

Beach access with free sun loungers redeemed the package.
Our room was antiquated. Large bathroom but shower cubicle was aged and measured about 450mm square. Shower head did not fit in it's holder properly and there was dirt ingrained on door runners. All the furniture in the room was very old. The divan bed bases had been covered by solid wood to keep them functional and the mattresses were old and not very thick. There was a large wardrobe but with only four hangers. No drawers and the fridge provided was glued to the back of the wardrobe,presumably to stop us stealing it. When the fridge top was covered it got very hot. Lighting in the room was dim. When we arrived the lights on the terracing were not on and it was pitch black. Had to use a torch to open the door.
The maid service was however as good as it could be in the circumstances. Given that our booking was for 5 nights we would have hoped for better.๐ช
