The property is just beautiful! The rooms are so well appointed and they think of everything in the restrooms! This is rare, I always have to ask, not here!

Breakfast was good and the staff who attended to us there. The look of the hotel and communal areas looked 5 star. Although poolside furniture looked a bit shabby. Some staff tried hard to meet our needs and most were friendly. The use of beach club and pool towels.
We weren't given a twin room for my two adult sons despite an email agreeing to this ( this is why I didn't check again at arrival). The air conditioning went off randomly during the early hours setting off a room light automatically. Could not control the air conditioning and no written instructions. Faulty shower and toilet flush plate. Mini bar not plugged in. No hand soap, shampoo given instead. Took staff two attempts, after being given further shampoo, to offer a bar of soap, not seeming to understand what our request was. I didn't feel confident in raising all the above with Reception staff because not all spoke much English and the soap issue was such an effort. Some areas of the hotel felt 5 star, but I would say the rooms didn't. Poolside snacks or lunches would have been nice but instead sit down meals seemed to be only thing on menu. Too expensive. More helpful information in room about how to find pharmacy, groceries etc would have been useful.

Location - we had a hire car and wanted to stay somewhere where we could get to and from the airport, and other locations easily, and somewhere that had a pool. The hotel has a lot of art pieces in its grounds and reception. Food was good at breakfast - plenty of choice.
Being given an accessible room - open shower which flooded the room making the floor very wet (needed mopping and they wouldnt leave a mop), and dangerous (husband slipped twice). Had to complain twice to get a room change. Music around the pool areas. Nice and calming most of the day, but then it cranked right up and was loud at about 4.00 with the same songs every day - was awful and spoiled the atmosphere.
