Beautiful, Beautiful converted building in a great location in the town. Pool was fantastic and hardly busy. Rooms and whole place kept immaculate. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. As a stay I thought it was amazing.
Small issues really. No coffee pods provided with Nepresso Machine in room . I mistakenly booked without breakfast and we felt 15 Euro was expensive for the offering.
Town itself was dead as a doornail. 2 amazing meals in local restaurants were marred by being the only people in the restaurant. I believe its more popular in cooler months with hikers but I'd say local amenities were sparce at best.

This hotel is beautiful and exceeds expectations! It's located within a lovely small town with local amenities, a selection of restaurants just walking distance and a train station nearby! Our hotel room was stunning with everything we could want/need included. The breakfast options were great as well as the roof terrace pool and sun loungers! Exactly what we wanted for a relaxing couples trip!

The en-suites were generous in size with a two person jacuzzi
Breakfast had a good selection of cereals, cured meats, cooked eggs
The swimming pool was clean and the sun lounger beds were comfortable
Location was quite poor - the town is quiet with limited options for dinner. I would suggest renting a car, however parking is also very difficult in the town. We had to park a 10 minute drive away from the hotel.
When we arrived, we were informed that the spa was out of order and undergoing works and the owner didn’t know when it would be working again. We booked this hotel on the pretence we could book the spa on a rainy day.
The toiletries in the room were basic and not replenished.
The mini bar was costly and there weren’t any coffee capsules for the coffee machine - my assumption is you would have to pay for these separate too.
The pillows were uncomfortable.
If you book a double room you are allocated a room in the annex which is detached from the main hotel. There’s a street right outside your room so you hear cars at night. The walls were thin and we could hear neighbours upstairs and in the room next door.
