Really spacious and clean apartment, excellent shower, plenty of coat hangers.
A short walk to some reasonable cafes and restaurants and handy for buses and trains. Slightly out of the centre so better value for money but the area does look a bit tired. Found an amazing Vietnamese restaurant nearby.
Nothing really significant, just a few niggles. Sound travelled around the building - bangs, knocks, shutting doors etc audible in the apartment. The second bedroom overlooked a void area which was illuminated all night. There was a blind, but the room was never really dark. Also in the second bedroom the 'bedside' table and lamp were actually at the foot of the bed as there wasn't sufficient space between the twin beds. Kettle had to be used on the hob and took ages to boil. The safe didn't appear to work, but we didn't bother to ask about it.
That being said, I think we would stay there again if we ever go back to Barcelona - which is unlikely until the city has stopped digging up every road, square and park which really spoiled our trip.
