Location was great, close to bus stops and metro stations and at a walkable distance from the beach and the historic center.
We were unsure if we'd have a fridge in the room and we're glad to find that we did. We were also glad for the AC.
The staff helped us when we had some problems with the locker inside the room and gave us a good suggestion for luggage storage after we checked out.
We did not have any insect problems.
There was a small gap under our front door which made us hear other guests as if they were in the same room with us.
The bed sheets were stained. They seemed clean but maybe they were in need of some bleaching? That was a pretty bad first impression.
Being aware of the hostal's cleaning policy, we asked for a broom to do a bit of cleaning ourselves. Even so, we were denied and told that the cleaning would happen in the next day.

Previously stayed at the BruStar Sagrada Família and this one was even nicer! We got an upgrade to a balcony room which was the perfect start to our trip. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and I will definitely be staying again when I’m next in Barcelona.
Would’ve preferred a smart tv in our room so we could’ve watched YouTube and Netflix.

The property was very centrally located and the room was spacious and cozy
The cleaning service was terrible, they didn’t clean during the normal days and then on the supposed “cleaning day” they even didn’t check the bathroom and the towels.
On the last day they didn’t clean at all and not even did the bed and when we asked for explanation they said it was a mistake and forgot

"Perfect location. Everything is pretty close 10-15mins walk. Room has beautiful view on arc de triumph. Also, bakeries, supermarkers are all here, restaurants, tapas etc"
