It was airy, clean and comfortable— with very good air conditioning in the rooms (a summer essential)! The staff were so kind and thoughtful, and I loved having breakfast on the beautiful patio. It’s in a great central location near the Metro, but on a fairly quiet street. I never had to wait for the bathroom, and they were kept nice and clean. All in all, a really lovely stay!
One very minor issue with the building: there’s a small elevator, but you have to climb about 8 stairs to get to it! I have some knee issues but I could manage it—but for anyone who really couldn’t climb stairs, that would be a big problem .

Location was great, close to downtown Barcelona. The staff was friendly. Good breakfast.
The beds were not comfortable at all. We asked the staff for extra pillows but we could not get any.
