The view really is exceptional and the staff are extremely pleasant and obliging. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast service was lovely and it’s possible to buy drinks and snacks to have in the evening. Nice is very busy and Le Panoramic is a little haven on the edge of town. The no 84 bus stops right outside so take the time to master the public transport system, it will be worth it.
Unfortunately a glitch in the reservations platform meant that we were booked into a room without a view and as the hotel was fully booked we couldn’t be moved. The host was extremely apologetic and did everything they could to remedy the situation, but it was disappointing not to have the view from our room. However there are tables and chairs outside that we made use of, and these were very pleasant spaces.

This hotel's location was a real highlight of our stay. Being tucked away from the busy downtown area meant we could always retreat to a quiet, peaceful spot after a full day of exploring Nice.
One thing to plan around: the hotel sits up a fairly steep hill, so you'll want to get comfortable with the local bus system (as I did) or budget for the occasional Uber ride back. It's a minor logistical detail, but worth factoring into your plans, especially if you're tired at the end of the day.
The staff more than made up for it — everyone I encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help with whatever I needed.
Breakfast on-site was another highlight, served with a lovely view that made starting the day a real pleasure.
Overall, a great choice for anyone wanting a peaceful base with easy access to Nice, as long as you're prepared for the hill!
No window screens, so opening them for fresh air meant letting the bugs in too. Turns out that's just an European thing — screens aren't really common here. Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind if you like sleeping with the window open.

The bed was good
I did not get the room I expected, I thought we would get a sea view over the city but instead we were down a floor and it look nothing like the photos on the website
