Bien.

Las casitas individuales eran calentitas, y la cama era cómoda.

En invierno, ya que esta bastante alejado de todo, no estaba el restaurante abierto, la chica nos dijo que nos podía apañar una sopa de champiñones. Las cabañas podrían reformarlas un poco, almenos el baño.

Buena ubicación con grandes vistas

Genial ubicación. Nos alojaron en una casita separada del resto con unas vistas muy buenas ( tuvimos que coger el coche). Tuvimos cocina y una habitación más grande de la que habíamos solicitado. Cama grande y cómoda.

Todo estaba bien aunque por poner alguna cosa a mejorar del baño, se salía el agua de la ducha y se empapaba el suelo.

Todo genial.

Tienes una maquina de café y té todo el día, incluso con vasitos para llevar. Había gente que desayunaba alli, en las zonas comunes. La habitacion era muy cómoda. Además me dieron un hervidor para tener en la habitación.

Small but functional in a container.

We needed a place for 3 to stay and found this „last minute“. Yes it was compact. Basically a 3 people room in a 20-foot container inkl. toilet and shower. After my booking, the operators got in touch to really make sure, that I knew what i booked… in my case: I did. Coffee and tea are complimentary in the restaurant, that was a nice touch. Breakfast can be bought. There was a playground for kids and a room for the bigger ones with a pool table and sofas in the guest house.

A place that worth it to stop, eat and get some rest.

Awesome place to stay, living room available with pool table and board games. Hot beverages free. Food was amazing, staff courteous and service was way above and beyond our expectations. I strongly recommend this.

People was smoking next to the entrance in the morning. Really warm even though the windows were open.

Exceptional

The room was extremely clean and renovated! We needed to check-in after 11pm, and they were extremely accommodating as this is a common occurrence. It was easy to find our room, and we were pleasantly surprised to find slippers and an eye mask for each of us!

It’s an amazing location and a good place to stay at if you plan on having multiple daytrips.

The location was amazing. Everyone we met was really kind and helpful.

Well, it was us(me) who chose a small room for 3, but didn’t expect it to be that small.

Pleasant

For our family, we booked the Family Room. It does not even have a microwave or a fridge. Also, the location is kind of remote. So, this made it hard to feed our family affordably.

nice spacious common social room for guests inclusing spectacular turtles and free coffee/tea. approachable and friendly staff.

awesome location and is best for solo travellers. clean room and amenities. great view and they do have a small farm with Icelandic horses. check-in was easy and was on time. room was very clean.

Alright by all standards, not a standout place but nothing much to complain about either

Really serene place with a lot of quiet

Service wise this place does fall short, they didn't have blackout curtains either. This is iceland, the sun rarely sets during the summer and we just got eye masks to cover.

it was good lokation.

then we come to guest house, staff informed us, that they have problems with hot water, but it’s not very cold and they try fix it till the morning, but in the morning water was still very cold.

Unique place where to stay

The cottage itself is very basic but beautiful and cozy. The location is amazing. Staff is very friendly.

Towel for the toilet floor wasnt provided. Some more hangers could be uselful

best stay in Iceland

absolutely amazing stay. the management was top notch and had the greatest of service. The food was delicious and the rooms were new. attention to detail in the rooms were also very nice. with beautiful decorations and clean smell. recommend this place to anyone. and it was our favourite stay on all of Iceland. thank you !

Overall lovely night, clean room, comfy beds, guest lounge area was comfortable and well stocked

Sleeping area was a little loud at night, coffee machine broke and no alternative to make coffee for guests

Great facility in with the view at mountains and glacier!

Very nice location. Great views at mountains and glacier! Fully equipped shared kitchen. Very large room. Comfortable beds. Very efficient heating. The room was waiting for us, with the resevation on the door. Fully equipped but shared bathrooms.

The bathrooms need some refreshing.

It was fine, but would have liked it more if we'd got the apartment we actually booked.

Room was very warm and cosy (the weather was exceptionally cold) and comfortable. Plenty of hot water. The property is convenient for heading east on the coast road, but you'll need google maps to find it. Night staff were very helpful.

We didn't get the apartment we booked. We turned up to find decorating material everywhere, curtains down and beds not made. In fairness, the girl on reception was mortified and did everything she could to help, including finding us an alternative apartment. But with so few bookings in the middle of winter, it doesn't indicate great customer service.

Nice place to stay near Selfoss

The guesthouse is very close to Selfoss a 10 min drive from the city.The guesthouse has a restaurant and a good lounge area with a tv and indoor games like table tennis, snooker, foosball and board games, which makes up for not having a tv in the rooms.The staff is very friendly,the room is well equipped and access to tea/coffee/drinks is free at the lounge area.

A great place to unwind, see the Aurora and recharge the batteries.

I booked a cottage at Hotel Vatnsholt for my week in Iceland. It's a perfectly isolated location so very quiet, but close enough to the touristy stuff if that's what you want. I saw the northern lights four times in a week without having to leave the grounds of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and the food was top drawer, especially the fish. The perfect place to unwind. I will be back.

Affordable rooms to view the Northern Lights

Very nice location, especially to view northern lights. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. There is free water, juice, coffee and tea.

The shower was pretty old and there was already some black mold around it. There was a school group in the same house with us that was super loud
