Nice cottage right in the middle of the Golden Circle with windows on all sides to take in the views. We had a great time here.
Very well equipped kitchen, though we did miss a freezer.
Annoyingly low water pressure. Filling up the sink to do the dishes or rinsing shampoo out of your hair takes ages. Even washing your hands takes 3x longer.
Make sure to leave a window open at night. We didn't the first night and the windows were soakingly wet the next morning.

Too small for 4 people. No where to hang and dry out our wet outdoor clothes.

The cabin was beautiful. The views around it were stunning and it wasnt far from Selfoss or the Geysir and Gullfoss. We actually got snowed in the first morning there and my son loved playing in the snow and making a snow man. The cabin is very small but you have everything you need.
Every time we cooked and opened the oven the fire alarm went off even with all the windows open in the freezing weather. A couple more oven tray would have been handy.
If there is a lot of snow follow the advice of the owners and park outside the gate. It was ok until you drove on the road just before the cabin where the snow was up to my knees. We dropped our suitcases in and then left the car by the gate for the rest of our stay. This was difficult for me especially as I have health issues and carrying suitcases through the snow across a field was difficult.

The location was fantastic and we were really excited to use the hot tub
The hot tub wasn't very clean and the jets weren't working in it, although still nice at around 39 degrees. The property wasn't fully clean - dining table had crumbs on and hairs all over the bathroom. No tea available or milk pods (in all other places we've stayed this week it was standard). The places needs a bit of TLC with some rotten/chewed skirting boards and one blind fully broken off in the living room.
