THINGS TO KNOW The full kitchen does not have a dishwasher. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. cottage is lovely and equipped with everything you need. we stayed for 9 nights. nice outside area. the area is good, 20 minutes to walk until PB, big supermarkets and restaurants and everything else that you need is very close.

They offered futon to sleep, but it was losing air. For 4 nights i had to sleep at the floor. Everyday i tried to get new futon from them, And comforter ( there was only one) but nobody ever showed up.

Thought this location was close to the beach but it was a good 30 minute walk to any water which was not a bad thing just didn’t know. We happened to come during a heat wave but there was no Air conditioning ( like what was stated in the description) also had plenty of heaters but no fan - we had to go buy a box fan from ACE. other then those two complaints it was a decent place to stay.

We enjoyed the convenient and quiet location. Parking on the street was always available. Laundry was excellent. We stayed 3 weeks and storage was limited. TV is a Roku tv and very limited unless one is a streamer and belongs to personal services. This unit should be limited to two occupants.

When we arrived there was a swarm of flies on the stairs by the front gate, due to fruit falling off the trees that hadn't been cleaned up. Once inside there were also many flies in the house. Not all the windows have screens, so we could not open them to get more fresh air in the house. We tried to park in the reserved space and it was taken. It is also in the alley, which you cannot get to from the house because you have to walk through the yard behind. There are "Beware of Dog" signs on both sides, so it is impassable. You have to walk all the way around to get to it, very inconvenient. There was usually street parking. The house was nice enough and bed comfortable, but I wouldn't stay again.

Smaller than I thought, but it is a single family house and conveniently located to get to all attractions and beaches easily. Couple of suggestions is to get a set of wine glasses and an umbrella for the patio seating.

Beautiful Studio
Beautiful studio that was perfect for our little family of 4 (2 under 2 yo). Well equipped with everything that we needed for our 2 day stay. Nice back patio. Great location, walking distance to the bay and Fanuel Park. Our only issue was that a neighbor was parked in the “assigned” parking spot in the ally. We contacted the property management company and we were told that all we could do is have them towed. We asked the back neighbors if it was their vehicle and they moved it. There was also trash cans in the parking spot. Otherwise we were extremely happy with our stay and would stay again when visiting SD!!

The cottage was well placed for visiting areas outside downtown. There were two close grocery stores, Von’s and Trader Joes, as well as restaurants.
There are steps up and down to get to the cottage from the street if mobility is an issue.
The dedicated parking space in the back was needed because street parking was limited. The back parking space requires passing the back cottage but at the time I was there no one was in occupancy.
The TV requires codes to watch apps like Sling, Prime, and Netflix. There was no way I could find to watch regular programs.
The bedding is down which could be an allergy issue.

Wonderful except one thing...
I loved it, the house was absolutely perfect bed was super comfy and the shower and kitchen were lovely. The only thing was there was no thermostat, and it was COLD, it's January, and sometimes a blanket doesn't do it. But besides that, I would highly recommend especially if it's the summertime.

Two things to know if you are renting via VRBO: Owner will not respond to any inquiries sent via VRBO. You need to email Vacasa or use the Vacasa app if you want a response. Also, TV is listed as an amenity, and there is a flat screen TV on the wall, but according to a response from Vacasa, television is not one of the amenities available. If there's something you want to watch (in our case a Bowl Game), be prepared to watch on your own device.

Very clean, well appointed, stylish! Some early morning construction noise and late night neighbor socializing, as well as inability to figure out how to ignite an older model stove were the only draw backs. Best place I've stayed in San Diego so far!
