Beautiful house - great value for money and 20 mins from airport

Lovely house with beautiful grounds. Staff were so lovely and the dinner was amazing!

Tranquil relaxing hideaway with pool and lovely local food.

Private and quiet. Small number of rooms. Lovely building and garden. Excellent local food. Lovely staff. 2 Good size pools. We were allowed to borrow bikes and rode to Negombo beach (Not a swimming beach) and the fish market. But given it was so hot we were too tired to ride back.

Being fussy here. The water pressure in the rain shower head was as expected. So if you like pressure then you will be a little disappointed. FYI no tv (which was a good thing) and internet connection is very slow. So couldn’t stream.

A beautiful place!

Everything! The rooms are clean, food is delicious, the staff is super nice and environment is peaceful and beautiful. The pool is wonderful to hang out in, and the birds are so lovely!

A real hidden paradise.

Everything in this place feels like a paradise (lush gardens, crystal-clear pools, the ubiquitous singing birds).

The exact location of the property is not easily pinpointed in Google Maps; it is therefore required to call the hotel reception for indications. I would suggest that the property owners consider providing clearer directions or additional landmarks to help guests find their way more easily.

A perfect first night on Sri Lanka

Everything was wonderful. The place is this beautiful colonial building sorrounded by the lush greenery of Sri Lanka. They have two pools and the restaurant is facing one of them. The rooms are beautiful as well. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner and all the staff was very helpful acommodating the needs of my two children. It was too short of a stay. I'd have loved to spend some more time enjoying the facilities. We stopped there because our plane was arriving at the airport in the evening. From the airport to the Villa is just around 20min.

Superb

Very clean and beautiful villa. Two outdoor swimming pools, beautiful landscaped area. Large rooms and great bathroom. clean towels. Each room has its own terrace.

Fan in our room didn't work. Breakfast was not the same as advertised.

Paradise

The minute I set foot in the place just magical between the 2 houses and the 2 pools the gardens I can say 1 of the best properties that I have booked through Booking. Com for the money excellent value and the host Neil was a gem

Leaving was very difficult because the place for me so special. I think the only draw back for some people would be they would have to get a taxi to get to any restaurants but did not bother ourselves as he offers an excellent choice of food and drinks on site

Delightful stay near Colombo airport:)

We chose this lovely villa simply because we needed an overnight stay that was close to the airport and which promised an airport pickup. The reviews seemed good... the place sounded cozy... so we just took a chance. Only to be amply rewarded:))) Firstly - it was totally professional. There was a lady waiting to pick us up as promised... check in and outs were a breeze... the place was exactly as the photos in Booking.com.... But then there was lots more... So what defines this place for us is 'Pure Generosity'... the beauty of untouched nature... the simple yet gorgeous architecture... and the warmth... and gosh the indulgences... the food cooked to perfection... the surprise - wood apple juice (two varieties) waiting on our breakfast table... just because my husband reminisced about this just once!! Thank you Neel... we did not want to leave your villa... and so hope it will be flooded by people like us who want to experience the best of your beautiful Sri Lanka :)))

Perfect way to end our trip

Perfectly maintained and managed hotel. The garden and property are gorgeous. The hosts we're very welcoming and recommended a great place for us to by spices before we headed home. A perfect way to finish up our trip.

The staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. We stopped off for one night after arriving, just a short drive from the airport with pick up pre arranged which was very smooth. We had dinner on arrival which was delicious and they catered for vegan diets. Breakfast in the morning was also excellent. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The room was well decorated, clean and cool from the aircon. There is a water filtration system removing the need for any plastic water bottles. We couldn't recommend this place more!

Close to the airport and very nice place

Very beautiful hotel with amazing gardens. We took it for our last night in Sri Lanka and used their free shuttle service to the airport. They were very helpful and took us to the airport in time (quite early in the morning).

it was silent, the mattresses were super comfy. the bathroom is awesome! still in very good condition even through the pandemic time. super sweet staff and good Italian coffee.

the dinner was not good for foodies ; it’s more European than traditional. breakfast was very good: no sugar, no salt added into the juices! ;)

Gorgeous property, very lush and green. 2 pools with space to lounge and swim. The staff was attentive and friendly. The rooms were gorgeous and very large. The food was delicious!

Hard to find as there isn’t a clear sign outside- you just need to note the address house number.

Charming hotel in Negombo

A lovely hotel with 10 incredibly spacious and comfortable rooms surrounded by a beautiful garden. The hotel has a nice restaurant that serves a very nice breakfast, basic lunch and very nice dinner. There are two swimming pools with deck chairs. The hotel is within 20 mins drive from the airport. The reception staff can organize transport with a very nice and reliable driver that has mini-buses, cars and tuk-tuks. All the staff were incredibly professional, nice and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful stay and for the advice on shopping in Negombo!

Beautiful family-run property perfect to decompress after a long journey. Can't recommend enough!

The property is absolutely lovely. Unfortunately, we only stayed for a very short time, as our flight was early in the morning (4 am...) but the room was fantastic, the food was great, and everyone was incredibly helpful and accommodating. It is the perfect place to relax coming or going to Sri Lanka. Next time we will stay longer.

Great airport stop

We had a very pleasant start to our Sri Lankan holiday, the propert is beautiful and so are the surroundings. Staff was super nice and helpful. Great stop just minutes away from the airport. (our touktouk driver got a little lost so better to have the driver call the property for direction)

Stunning location, amazing hosts and delicious food!

Arriving at The Villa Green Inn felt like arriving in paradise. It was the perfect please to arrive to in Sri Lanka and have a relaxing couple of nights to start our trip. The gardens are absolutely stunning, so many beautiful plants and birdsong. Everyone was incredibly friendly and the food was exceptional! Being close to the airport was so convenient and we will only heard a few planes go overhead which didn't bother us at all.
