Staff are the absolute highlight of this getaway. They absolutely match the picturesque energy with dedication and genuine care about everyone who visits.

It was all really nice. The room was great and it was a very nice bathroom. We ate there in the evening, and that was very good, and the breakfast was great in the morning. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. So we have no complaints.
It’s a picturesque location and has a very nice garden, but is perhaps just a little bit isolated if you want to go anywhere else. Staithes is fairly near and we wanted to go there for a quick drink before dinner, but couldn’t get a taxi ,although there is a bus that goes every half hour, so it probably wouldn’t have been a problem if we had had more time.

Location of Ellerby fantastic and food really good, Staff are friendly and helpful
the room we stayed in The family room was cold, so if there had been extra blankets that would have been good. The downstairs part of the family room was freezing and outdoor door banged all night did not lock!
