Friendly and caring staff and owners. You instantly become part if the family.
Only one very small issue, the bathroom, it did take a while for shower mist to clear and things felt damp. But no joke intended it didn't put a dampner on the whole experience

The hotel is set in a lovely quiet location with easy access to other areas. Great accommodation which is spotlessly clean, and has a small conservatory overlooking a lovely garden area at the back. There are bus stops right outside going into Whitby, and as far as Middlesborough in the opposite direction. The breakfast is superb with plenty of choice and all the other food served at the Ellerby is top notch. All the staff were lovely, chatty and very helpful. We hope to stay again in the not too distant future.
We couldn’t find anything we didn’t like, it was great.
