The resort is small, charming and very cosy. Our water villa was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We opted for the all-inclusive package, and the food was good overall. However, the cocktails and wine were quite average and could definitely be improved. A special mention to Chef Mr. Raaji and the restaurant and bar staff, who were exceptionally nice, attentive and accommodating. They always did their best to fulfil our requests and cater to any special dietary requirements, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we had a lovely stay and enjoyed the warm hospitality of the team.

One area that I feel needs considerable improvement is the atmosphere at Fen Bar. For most of our stay, there was either no background music or the music was played at such a low volume that it was barely noticeable when the DJ wasn't performing. There was a live band only once during our 7-night stay, which was quite disappointing. When visiting a pool bar, we expect a livelier atmosphere, with music at a reasonable volume to enjoy while relaxing by the pool, having a drink or simply unwinding. Unfortunately, Fen Bar lacked that ambience for most of our stay. Another disappointing experience was the packed breakfast arranged for our excursion. Since we were on an all-inclusive package, we specifically requested sandwiches and a few boiled eggs. We made this request a day in advance, particularly as our excursion was scheduled for 6:00 AM. However, what we received was mostly fruit and sweet croissants, along with just half of a small cheese sandwich. This was not what we had requested and was particularly disappointing given that we had communicated our requirements well in advance. Overall, while the resort has a lot going for it, there is certainly room for improvement, particularly when it comes to the bar experience, entertainment and catering to guests' specific requests. With a little more attention to these details, the overall guest experience could be significantly better.

We had a wonderful stay at Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives! The food was absolutely delicious and offered a great variety of choices. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. Throughout our stay, we truly felt that everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Their genuine hospitality made our holiday even more special and unforgettable. We highly recommend this beautiful resort and would love to return!

Nothing to be honest

It’s a beautiful property, and it has a lovely feeling of cosy and elegant. The staff were fantastic, especially Chamil and Kasun! I proposed to my gf here (and she said yes!!), and the entire staff were supportive of my plan, and all arrangements. They were warm, friendly and honestly started feeling like a part of my family! There were times after the proposal they came up and checked up on how it went, and spoke very warmly.
