Perfect stay from the lovely, warm welcome to checkout. The location is ideal - central yet in a quiet corner. The room was huge, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everything worked and was spotlessly clean. All the staff were exceptional: warm, friendly and helpful. Thank you, breakfast lady, for looking after us so well.

I want to start by saying that the hotel itself is lovely and your staff were excellent throughout my stay. I really appreciated the service and hospitality I received.
Unfortunately, for two of the nights, I was staying in a room that had an issue with ants. There were ants in the room, including in the bed, and I was actually bitten as a result. This was extremely unpleasant and significantly affected my comfort and enjoyment of my stay. I appreciate that issues can occasionally occur, However, given that I had to spend two nights in a room affected by ants and was bitten while in bed, and lack of sleep. I emailed to ask for a refund for those nights, but the reply was, they thought was ok as had given me up grade without charging me.
Very unpleasant to have 2 nights of no sleep with ants in room and bed, and be bitten. Lack of empathy from hotel to seriously think I was going to pay to change room,
