Robert, the Hotel Manager is very helpful, friendly, always available for questions about the hotel, the island, things to do, where to eat (he recommended Angelina....wonderful choice). The place is very clean, the rooms are very cosy and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and you take it on a huge terrasse with the nature around. The place is very quiet (you can hear the birds) and close to everything (10-15 minute walk to the beautiful executive beach, 25-30 minutes to the other side of the island (Playa Larga, playa Galeon). The hotel is picking you up in a golf cart at the harbor (golf carts are the main transportation on the island). They also rent golf carts at a very decent price. I can only warmly recommend La Romantica. Thank you very much Robert.

Good breakfast. Angelina's Restaurant and La Casa Tortuga Restaurant both excellent and about 2 min walk. Deer and other animals on back of property

it was clean
The hosts. honestly I would of given a higher rating, but the woman made some mistakes:
1. she charged an extra $15 for tax, which was already included in my booking. I paid because she was argumentative and she pocketed the money
2. the woman and man dropped us off at the ferry, said goodbye, then snuck back and sat behind us at the waiting station making sure we left. Super uncomfortable and weird, I don’t know what the purpose was but I felt like she was either jealous of her husband taking us, or was some sort of micro manager, helicoptering her customers.
