The room was well decorated, good furnishings, clean and comfortable. A member of staff advised a "Weatherspoons" was not far away for evening meal & breakfast.
No breakfast or evening meal.
You have to live with the pub noises & being a Friday night, live music.

The room was comfortable, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The chap who checked us in was friendly and helpful, he carried my bag up two flights of narrow, awkward stairs. We felt that with a bit of effort this could be a little gem but there is a way to go downstairs.
The pub was rough and reception a scruffy table behind the bar. Although we were expecting breakfast we were told the chef had left a couple of weeks previously and the kitchen was closed, !£130 per night was more than we normally pay and we feel that the price should be reduced. However once up the narrow stairs , it was like entering a different place.
