The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice of food and beverages, lovely breakfast room. We also had an evening meal in the pub, the food is extremely good, great choice of food on the menu, with a specials board too. Lovely log fires too!
The only fault was the front door yale lock key, which didn't work properly and made the door difficult to open. We spent a while outside in the cold one evening trying to open the door, it definitely needs some attention

The breakfast was ok. It was in a building away from the kitchen so it arrived with tin foil on it.
The room looked pleasant enough to start and it had a good fan and the bed was comfortable. However, the sink in the bathroom was smashed. The shower was attached to the taps in the bath but you couldn’t use it because the ceiling was too low. Lastly the carpet could use a clean. Also we ate in the pub and my husband had fish which was literally tasteless.
