Very nice grounds, room was nice, spacious and clean. The dog treats were a nice touch. Well located for Shrewsbury.
Jacuzzi and sauna out of use.
Lack of outdoor bins in the grounds to dispose of waste after cleaning up after the dog. Just a couple discretely placed would have been helpful.

The outside areas were beautifully maintained. Good breakfast in a nice calm atmosphere. The rooms both had good window views and comfy beds.
We were not impressed that our e mail request through booking.com to eat in the restaurant was not replied to. On arrival I followed that up and was told we could eat in the bar as the restaurant was fully booked. I could have been told that in an e mail response. It would have been nice if a polite apology was offered. The one room needed a good clean and there was an issue with no hot water which we reported to the desk. This was a big problem. The pool area needed a good clean and there were hairs in the water. Generally a hotel that wasn't t quite on the mark. An all round clean inside would be a great benefit to the hotel.
