The location was superb - 2 minute walk from Shin Okubo and Okubo stations which give access to the main areas of Tokyo. The facilities were all bare bones but did the job. The room itself was small but pretty comfortable for 2 people and had great air conditioning.
The beds were rather hard (for my western taste) and I did notice a bit of back pain towards the end of my 6 nights there. They're about 2 inches of mattress foam on a wooden bunk. Also would have liked a kettle in the common kitchenette area but otherwise the microwave was sufficient.

Very quite. Close to station. Toilet and bed is clean. Air conditioner is working nicely. Shower and wash cloth are available. Check out at 11 am.
The bed is a little bit small.
