About this house rental

Situated in Long Beach, this charming house for $473 per night is a great option for your next break. The Parker House, with 2500 sq. ft. of living space, is the perfect home for family reunions, Thanksgiving and other special gatherings. The decor is contemporary Americana, with clean lines, sturdy handsome furnishings and homey quilts and colorful artwork. The Parker House has two bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, deck and a large en-suite bath with a soaking tub with its own ocean view. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds. Nearby is a full bath in the hall. The living room and large open kitchen and dining areas are both upstairs as well. The living room has a gas fireplace and TV with DVD. The large windows offer excellent storm watching in the winter. The kitchen features a breakfast bar, informal breakfast table and formal dining area with fireplace. There’s a small deck just off the kitchen on the south side with an ocean view. This deck is especially good for watching the Kite Festival or July 4th fireworks. The laundry area is in the kitchen for your convenience. Downstairs is a large family room with TV/DVD, another full bath and 2 more bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed; the other has 2 twin bunk-beds. So with 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 6 twin beds, The Parker House will sleep up to 10 people total. There’s a double garage and plenty of off-street parking available too. Enjoy the laid-back lifestyle of Long Beach and the Peninsula! The Parker House is a beautifully furnished home with double garage near beach and the Discovery Trail -- an easy walk to beach activities or downtown. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are all close by, plus lots of things for the kids to do. There’s miniature golf, the arcade and carnival rides are just a few blocks away. The nearby Bolstad beach approach is a hub of activity year-round, but especially during the summer months, with the International Kite Festival in August and, of course fireworks on Independence Day and New Year’s Eve. There’s even more to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula – all 26 plus miles of it. The Port of Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment are only a short drive away, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. There are some great art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon. On the north end of the Peninsula is Ocean Park, with bookstores, restaurants and gift stores. Visit Jack’s Country Store to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Leadbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay. With so much to offer, Parker House is a wonderful place for making magical vacation memories! Please refer to Terms of Agreement.

This is a great house for a family gathering. Very roomy with space for all ages and a perfect location with an ocean view and walking distance to beach and town. We did run out of house supplies and the garbage from previous guests along with ours didn't get picked up during our week stay. Overall it had all our family needed for a fun stay at the beach.

On the plus side, The Parker House is in a great location, with peek-a-boo views of the water through the dunes. The place was clean, with plenty of clean towels and linens. Unfortunately, the water heater died during our visit, and we were without hot water for a full day. Tony, the maintenance man, was prompt and courteous, and worked hard to get us back up and running as soon as he could. There were some other maintenance issues that concerned us, but the property management company told me they hadn’t been able to complete their walk-throughs after a busy summer season. With a little more polish, this place could be a fantastic beach getaway.

This house has a great location. Very spacious inside and nice to have the separate living space downstairs for the teenagers. The bunks are very noisy and unstable. A couple of the kids moved out to the couches due to the noise. There were small black beetle type bugs ALL OVER the house. I am guessing they may be common for the area, but we have stayed in mutiple rentals in Long Beach and never saw them before. The sliding door out to the BBQ came off the track almost every time it was opened and the slider out to the front deck from dining area did not have a screen at all. With all this being said, I would probably still rent here again due to the location and space.

the location to the beach and town were so close and convenient. No one needed to drive anywhere. The layout out the house gave privacy and group locations for every one, playing game, watching TV or enjoying time alone.

This is a wonderful house! Very large and comfortable. And up to our cleaning standards, which are very high!! The location is fantastic! Right at the beach, boardwalk, and walking trails. A short drive to town, or doable to walk. The only caution I would give is we had an 86, 84, and 78 year old, who are pretty physically active but need some “older” people amenities. There are low toilets, no grab bars, and the master bed is very, very high. Lots of stairs but nice railings to help.
