Nice view over the mountain. Large apartment. Nice exterior. Reasonably close to Kinabalu park (10 min walk)

Great location for me , 2 minutes away from the main and dive shops and quieter. Great friendly lady on reception to help you , comfy room with good aircon , hot showers , great accommodation at budget price .
There are cats in the building but they do not bother you , good for me as I’m allergic. This was not a problem .

Large rooms with tall bunk beds. Shared spaces very clean. The kitten was cute.
Needed to restock the toilet paper more often. No stove for cooking in kitchen.

The cats are cute
It was really really loud during the night (street) and there are birds living on the roof which you can hear from 5 a.m. onwards. There was mold in every room. A lot of ants in the room (floor, ceiling, walls) and there are so many rules (telling you exactly how much you will be fined) hanging on the walls. The staff was generally nice and helpful but didn’t find out booking when we arrived.
