Amazing location!
Bathroom is used for a lot of people, so should be cleaned more often.

A genuinely great stay at El Josemari. Having researched hostels in the area, the quiet vibe and central location were appealing and when I got there it did not disappoint.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, along with giving quick replies on WhatsApp to any questions (including when I got a bit lost!).
I stayed in the 20 bed mixed dorm. It was very quiet, with good air conditioning and remained dark which helped with a relaxing vibe, and very much a space everyone respected was for sleeping. The cabin areas were actually very spacious and came with a locker and a safe which was great. There was also a towel to use which was an added bonus.
The entire hostel, including the bathrooms, were very clean and tidy. The bathroom facilities were great, with separate areas to get changed which was useful. I didn’t ever have to wait to use the shower facilities.
The hostel is in a great location, within a quiet square next to the basilica, within a short walk of many restaurants and shops and also close to bus routes. It felt very safe walking around here including at night.
On my final day, I made use of the luggage area facility so I could still enjoy my day after checkout and not have to carry everything around. There is also a toilet and communal area to sit in after checkout, with places to charge your phone.
Definitely was above expectations and would gladly stay here again!

Quiet, nice, clean, location is perfect, I like the part of toilet they have separate changing room, WC and bathroom, bed is comfortable and staff very friendly, nice kitchen and last one room so nice

Good communal, working area. Comfy beds, good showers, great location.
Rooms are too small meaning there’s barely space to open a suitcase. With each room fitting 4 people at a time, it can feel claustrophobic at times. To note; the “cabins” don’t actually have doors so they’re just curtains that barely cover the ‘entrance’
