The location was excellent for Lincoln and the outlying areas. The accommodation was really good with a spacious bedroom and bath/shower room. The building itself is very interesting, quirky, but it is approx 400 years old!! Ample parking in the street and the village its in is really nice. Julia was very welcoming and we also got some useful information on places to see etc. there is a big garden there, we spent one night sitting there with a glass of wine trying to spot bats, was so quiet there. There are plenty of places to eat in the evening in the villages and Lincoln itself. We would recommend the Grain Store at Doddington Hall, it’s not a cheap eat but it’s good. There are a lot of places to visit from this place. Would recommend and we will probably return when we revisit the area.
The only minor issue was a problem with getting poached eggs (my partners go to choice) so we had scrambled eggs. We were not asked daily (no menu to see) what we required for breakfast (the cooked part). But the food served was good and there was cereal and juices too.

Full of charm! Lovely quiet village location. With shops & a couple of pubs within stumbling distance. Slept exceptionally well. Friendly lady that takes care of the B&B and puts a lot of thought into making your stay fabulous!
Will definitely stay again.
The chunky keys lol They can be a bit fiddly sometimes.

The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were comfy. Lots of complimentary good quality toiletries, and plenty of tea/coffee, along with welcome biscuits and cake. Sorry we didn't eat though due to us both trying to lose weight!
We didn't like the very thick and rather overdone brown toast with breakfast. We would have liked a choice of white or brown, and not so thick. A menu of what is on offer, so that you can choose, might be an idea. Shower was very low pressure and took ages to get warm. This was mentioned in the information book and said it was due to the house being very old and please be patient. Just wonder whether a shower pump could be fitted to help.
