We had an excellent stay and everything went perfectly. The hotel is charming, peaceful, and beautifully located in the middle of the mountains, making it an ideal place to relax and disconnect.
The room was extremely comfortable, and the bed provided a perfect night's sleep. We especially appreciated the private terrace with its stunning mountain views.
I highly recommend the restaurant, particularly the à la carte menu (which should be booked in advance). The dishes showcase local specialties from the Serra da Estrela region and are prepared with great care and quality. The service throughout our stay was outstanding: kind, attentive, and professional.
The spa was another highlight. It features a huge swimming pool and all the facilities you could wish for, including a jacuzzi, hammam, and sauna. It was never overcrowded (we went in august), which made the experience even more enjoyable.
I also treated myself to a traditional Chinese massage. The therapist was highly professional, applied exactly the right amount of pressure, and provided helpful and relevant wellness advice.
Overall, a wonderful experience that I would gladly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and excellent service in a beautiful mountain setting.

A really nice hotel. Nice room. Beautiful surroundings. We had a great time with our child in the pool. There's a games room with entertainment.
The sauna and hamam are for guests over 16, which raises serious questions. They should have posted a "Quiet" sign or allowed access only if accompanied by a parent.
Dinner is served buffet-style, and the quality of the food is significantly lower than, say, Turkey or Egypt. All drinks, including water, are charged separately. Even WATER!
The staff isn't particularly friendly. Getting coffee during lunch was a real challenge. The bartender seemed on the verge of falling asleep. The only employee who smiled and brightened our mood was leading morning aqua aerobics in the pool

Clean, with lots of amenities, fantastic and very kind staff. Fantastic spa and services, great variety of food selection during breakfast and dinner services, high quality food. Very satisfied.
