Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Very relaxed vibe and clean. Beds were comfortable.
Would of liked somewhere available to get changed on check out day.

The outdoor pool is nice. The hotel has a comfortable lounge bar which is good value. The staff were excellent.

Clean, good quality rooms. Breakfast is decent. Also the bar area is very nice. Walk to the city is not bad but only if you walk along the main road (the lower route is like walking through Gotham city). Swimming pool outside is nice.
We went for dinner in the restaurant one evening. The service was atrocious. Took 20 minutes just to get a menu. When you have kids that sort of thing is especially unpleasant. The restaurant was almost empty too so no excuse. We just could not understand why they kept ignoring us. Then food arrived and my daughter could not eat hers, chips were stone cold (maybe the first time I've ever heard her complain about food). So regret not sending her meal back (we just wanted to get out of there by then). My rice dish was awful too, majorly bland and unseasoned.
We had room service burgers one night too. Could not finish, awful food (even in England that would not be served).
Pool table is a nice idea but one thing I cannot stand is pool with broken cues/tips and no chalk. No point in having a pool/snooker table if the cues are shoddy (unless you have no idea what pool is about and don't need chalk).
One other thing: directly outside our room they were digging the biggest frigging hole in the road from 8am each morning and the windows have no sound proof. Complete the general sense of poor value for money.
