The room and breakfast was nice. The breakfast was a bit pricey £20.00 per person but it was a buffet so you could get what you wanted and they did have everything for a breakfast.
I had to wait a fair while to be served at the bar. There was one else around and number of staff walked past me. I eventually had to stop one of the staff to serve me.

We had a suite with a view of the lake which was very nice. A very comfortable lounge area with large televisions
These rooms only have an overhead shower over the bath. There was no handle to hold to help get into the shower and the bath was slippery. The switch for the shower was behind the shower head which meant we could not turn it on to warm up without getting wet
Breakfast was buffet style but we were not informed that we could request poached or boiled eggs and only found out when we heard someone else ordering them.

Location is amazing! The hotel is situated overlooking Lake Windermere, the view is stunning!
The staff were all lovely and very helpful.
Breakfast was a good variety, from full cooked to continental, all self serve.
The room key didn't work properly, twice I had to go back to reception for them to sort it out.
There was a strange smell in my room (musty type) which they put down to the works being done.
Booking dot com price doesn't include breakfast, that's an additional £20 per person

The room and location were good
The room had damp. The table we sat at twice in the bar was never wiped clean. We had to go to the bar for any service. No staff approached us.
