The location is excellent with the Titlis base station within easy walking distance. My room combined old Swiss charm with modern bathroom and tv.
During my stay, however, the guesthouse felt largely unattended. There was no staff on site and all check in, questions and assistance was handled by the next door more modern Hotel Espen. Though there is a paying parking meter set up, parking was free for hotel guests
I shared the hotel with a group of "spontaneous" school boys (18-22) who occupied much if not all of the rest of the rooms.
Given those (exceptional) circumstances an upgrade to the neighbouring hotel would have been a exceptionally thoughtful gesture.

Impeccably clean. Beautiful tile floor and finishes. Very comfortable bed with great linens. A very short walk from the train station and Gondola to the top of Mt Titilus. Nice breakfast and availability of a bar and restaraunt right next door. This property exceeded my expectations especially for the price

The apartment has a great location right by the lake and near to the Titlis base station. It is spacious with great views to wake up to. Staff are friendly with a nice basic breakfast. A brisk walk from station
A bit warm in summer, opening the windows meant inviting insects. Would have appreciated a few more amenities such as coffee or tea
