Great place to stay

Hotel was superb - very nice location - rooms were great, spacious and comfy. Close to the location for Titlis cable car.

overall, it was a nice stay, but too expensive to what it offers

The breakfast was basic but enough and the view in the resturant was amazing It was great that we could book the spa (sauna + steam room + showers). It gives the needed privacy

The bathroom can't be locked. We were a family of four with two little kids so it was a bit inconveniet. The dinner menu didn't have many vegetarian options No refrigerator to save our toddler's milk

I AM VERY HAPPY STAY AT BANKLIALP HOTEL.

View Engelberg town from the balcony.Breakfast.Reception Officer, and clean.

Dont have transport from Engelberg Train Station to hotel. Very hard walk with bags along the snowy rain on the road.

Comfortable room, balcony with very great view of the valley, good breakfast also with a view, welcoming staff

As said in the previous comments (but yet the hotel's fault though), it's mostly a gravel path to get to the hotel (10-12 min walk from the train station). We didn't mind since we had packed light, but keep that in mind if you have a lot/heavy luggage.

Comfortable stay

Clean and good size room. Good view from balcony too. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. A walk fr the train station but we didn't mind. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was really good..

Restaurant was excellent. We met the chef earlier in the day and inquired about fondue. Although not on the menu, he made it for us Rooms are clean and adequate. They have a nice view of the village.

The hotel appears to cater to the winter season. They are terribly understaffed and should not be open. Proximity to the train station is not good. The hotel is up a hill and you must walk through a gravel path to get there. Taxi's are not readily available in the summer. The hotel has no sauna or coffee bar as they advertise. For the price, book at the Terrace where you get the quality you pay for.

An exceptional city to relax or to do many mountain hikes.

Clean, quiet, very helpful receptionist, very good food at the hotel restaurant, very professional waiters, 10 minutes walk to the train station, beautiful view.

Wifi a bit weak, but it's ok.

Very good

The rooms was comfortable, clean and the house owner very friendly. The location was a bit distance from the attractions in Rome, overall had a good rest here.

the apartment has steps going down had problem carrying luggage to the entrance.

very quiet location with a nice view, but on walking distance from town centre and a shuttle to the ski lift and. clean and nice staff.

Regretable, waste of time and money

Only good thing about this hotel was the view over the town

Manager was very rude and unhelpful and even her own staff complained about her. Rooms were very old and looked nothing like the pictures. No help with information regarding the hotel, even holding back on telling us about the NYE menu and fireworks display on their actual building. Not value for money.
