Really lovely period property, decorated beautifully. There were little touches in the room that made the stay extra special and the staff were very welcoming. Fantastic breakfast and central location for pubs in the area. Great location for walks in the hills.

The room was very clean and I liked the reconciliation between the old look and new technology in the room. This b&b is quite unique in a way as it has some things that other hotels don’t have. For example a radio in your room, complementary sherry in the rooms. I would definitely recommend this B&B and will be staying there again but in a different room.
The heating was a bit problematic and after reporting it, it did come on around 8pm after being off all day but it didn’t stay on throughout the night and the room cooled down and I was a bit cold. I also would have liked a bath in my room instead of a shower and a view of the church through the window. However that was my fault as I was the one who booked the room. I still would highly recommend this place however, because these things are only small compared to all the good things about this place.

The full English breakfast was good. The guest house is located right on the High Street so very convenient. Parking was easy enough in a nearby public car park, as indicated by the owner.
I arrived after 18:00 h, so there was no one there to greet me, which was a pity. The single bedroom called "The Snug" was cramped. The decoration is 1950's with bespoke DIY additions and some period pieces thrown in to complete the retro-boutique ambience. There wasn't room to open a suitcase on the floor and move around without stumbling over everything else. The bathroom was compact and dated. The person cooking breakfast didn't seem too pleased, but the other lady that came along afterwards was more amiable.
