I was moved to BE Tulum as Nomade was closed for reno. BE was gorgeous and the staff were so kind and caring. There was a whatsapp chat made with the concierges, and the expierence coordinator, José was so incredibly attentive- such a great person! I will be back and I haven't stopped raving about this place to friends and family. It's a short bike ride from a couple of big open cenotes. Food closeby was so good. The included breakfast at the hotel was very limited but it was nice.

I did not like that all of the wellness activities were cancelled because there were not enough participants. That is why we went there. But the hotel was still really beautiful. Just bummed about there being Temazcal ceremonies, and sound baths that were both cancelled. They shouldn't advertise those activities if they aren't going to really offer them. I would still maybe book there and just go to wellness services elsewhere because the place is beautiful.

Place, nature, food and yoga activities
Bar not at the level, receptionist a bit slow and not proactive, guest with kids(which I love) out of control. No one was there to let them behave. A lot of others guests were complaining without being listened by the staff.

The property blends beautifully into nature, creating a very unique atmosphere. The main restaurant and the omakase restaurant were both excellent. We also enjoyed the wellness activities offered on site — yoga, Pilates, sound baths and the massage options were a highlight.
The hotel is a little too rural in certain aspects. It gets extremely dark at night and it’s genuinely difficult to navigate through the pathways to find your room — it almost feels like walking through a forest. We actually needed to warn the hotel to increase lighting because there are raccoons on the property as well, so moving around at night felt unsafe at times. Also, the mosquitos are a serious problem. Whether you’re generally sensitive or not, be prepared — even though they provide repellant, you will still get bitten constantly and you’ll be itching for days.
