The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The communal areas were lovely, beautiful views through the floor to ceiling glass and my kids loved the foosball and pool table. The rooms felt very comfortable and spacious with the amazing high ceilings balcony. We arrived a bit late but that obliged us and made us dinner and bought it to our room as our toddler was asleep- it was truly excellent. The Aloo Ghabi was delicious!
We were not informed at check in that we needed to preorder Sri Lankan breakfast so we had to have western breakfast which was very average, with some strange processed meat. The rooms were overall clean but the shower could have been cleaner and the hot water was a bit dicky.

Great set up for travelling with kids
Website said it has a gym. But there was no gym.
