Spotlessly clean, warm, plenty of parking space
No breakfast availability despite what it said in its brochure about ordering before 8pm the night before.
Smokers from the bar congregating below our room at night. We had the window open to let fresh air because the room was very warm and it was a warm night, but they were directly below talking, swearing loudly and smoking. Wasn’t great…

The room was nice. The pub had good beer.
The pub website says food served until 8:30 pm. We got there at 8pm and were told that the food had finished. We were told we’d be given a big breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was small. One tomato, one mushroom cut up, a couple of tablespoons of beans, one slice of toast and some small tatty scones. All the breakfasts coming out of the kitchen looked small. We are not big eaters but found the breakfasts were too small.

Waitress in the dining very helpful/professional.
Matress was extremely hard and lumpy. Up outside stairs to room. Shower was very small.
